The part I enjoy most
Finding the one awkward step everyone has learned to live with, then making it simpler.
My work has ranged from C#, .NET, SQL, and Angular to Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and older web systems. The technology changes; the job is still to understand what people are trying to get done.

I am Josh.
I work full time in corporate software development. jjosh is my public notebook and the home for projects I make after work.
I like software with a clear job: fewer screens, fewer moving parts, and enough documentation that it does not become a mystery six months later. When I write here, I write about problems I actually ran into, including the parts that did not work the first time.
I have worked remotely for almost a decade, so power and internet reliability are not abstract infrastructure concerns. The habit of checking BENECO notices eventually became an outage notifier, then Bagiyo.
